Completing your profile for better introductions
The few answers that make the biggest difference to your introductions.
Your profile is what our AI reads when it looks for connections. A few specific sentences make a big difference.
Open your profile
- Sign in and click My profile on your dashboard.
- Fill in the boxes below, then click Save profile.
What to write
- What you offer, and to whom: your main services and the kind of customer you do them for. For example: "EICR safety certificates, rewires and EV chargers for landlords and homeowners."
- Your ideal customer, and what's just happened when they need you: the moment someone needs you. For example: "Landlords between tenancies who need a certificate fast."
- Businesses that meet your customers just before or after you: these are your best referral partners. For example: "letting agents, kitchen fitters, property managers."
- Who you'd most like to meet in the next 90 days: be specific. "Letting agents in north Manchester" beats "small businesses".
- Areas you cover: towns, cities or postcodes.
- Anyone you would NOT want to be introduced to: for example direct competitors.
- How much new work can you take on? We favour members who have room for new work.
Tips
- Saving your profile automatically starts a search for new connections.
- Vague answers like "small business owners" make it hard to find a strong connection. Name the type of business and the area.
